Senior LevelNorthland is looking for an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to supervise the maintenance team at the Yacht Club apartment community. The role involves overseeing work orders and repairs, ensuring timely completion of maintenance service requests, and maintaining high levels of professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities
Supervise the maintenance team and oversee work orders and repairs at the community
Prioritize and schedule projects and staff for timely completion of projects
Complete maintenance service requests and work orders including HVAC, electrical, pool maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and housekeeping items
Complete work orders and turn vacant apartments for move in in a timely and efficient manner
Handle after-hours emergency calls and be on-call as needed, including nights and weekends
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors
All maintenance employees are required to have their own hand tools to carry out job functions - other power tools will be provided
Must be able to work nights, weekend, and holiday shifts as part of the on-call responsibility
Travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, or to attend training classes
Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and climb, bend, and squat
Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry weights up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions
May be required to operate a golf cart on the property
Preferred
Prior experience managing a team is strongly preferred
