Responsibilities
Translate customer needs into clear, actionable system requirements
Design and analyze system-level requirements for hardware and software
Develop and maintain system software requirements
Collaborate with software development and verification teams
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across hardware and software
Coordinate with flight control system interfaces
Support hardware/software checkout and system bench development
Investigate and resolve integration challenges and customer-reported issues
Drive enhancements and continuous improvement for Gulfstream and other programs
Qualification
Required
Systems engineering experience with display systems
Strong background in defining and analyzing system-level requirements
Hands-on experience resolving hardware/software integration issues
Familiarity with tools like multimeters, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with customers and stakeholders during certification
Preferred
Advanced degree in Aerospace or Systems Engineering
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
Knowledge of avionics certification standards
Ability to solve complex technical problems within schedule and budget
Integration and test experience in lab or flight environments
Familiarity with configuration management tools (ClearCase/ClearQuest)
Background in debugging/testing avionics systems using simulation or hardware-in-loop environments
