Site Coordinator - Special Events
NEOGOV is part of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, which manages numerous parks and recreational activities. They are seeking a Site Coordinator to assist with various special events throughout the year, ensuring successful execution and providing leadership and customer service at these events.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and supervision at events
Serve as the on-site representative for Montgomery Parks Activation team for staff, vendors, and guests
Provide exemplary customer service by engaging with attendees, promptly addressing questions and concerns
Manage special event timelines and checklists at events
Monitor events on-site, including all event activities, ensuring the safety and success of the event
Provide support to the Parks Activation Team
Perform related tasks as required
Qualification
Required
Must possess a valid Maryland driver's license
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Stand for at least two hours at a time
Walk at least a half a mile up and down moderate hills without difficulty
Tolerance for working in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, humidity, and cold
Preferred
Experience facilitating and leading special events and programs
Experience with special events equipment
Experience with and knowledge of coordinating special events
Previous customer service experience
Experience driving large vehicles (pick-up truck and/or box truck)
Bilingual/Multilingual a plus
