Inside Sales Specialist
Five Star Recruiting and Staffing is a family-owned business seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to generate revenue by soliciting new customers and building strong relationships. The role involves collaborating with various departments to identify new sales opportunities and maintain existing accounts.
Responsibilities
Generates revenue by soliciting new customers
Works closely with Customer Service, Sales, and R&D to identify new customers
Build strong customer relationships and rapport
Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding, and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts
Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotes
Grow existing accounts by reviewing prior customer buying history and recommending new product items
Develop and maintain knowledge base of evolving product and service offerings
Troubleshoot and resolve customer product issues and/or concerns
Monitor and process web orders, fax orders, etc
Prepare and send prospect customer samples, follow up with prospect and close
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in marketing, business, or other relevant field. A four-year college degree may be waived as a requirement if there is sufficient experience
Prior experience in transportation, distribution, or warehousing a major plus
Well-versed in Microsoft Office 365 as well as CRM knowledge and experience
Strong project management, organizational and time management skills
Critical thinker and a problem solver
Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
Self-motivated with ability to drive projects, but also team-chemistry oriented
