Customer Service Technician

URO-1, Inc. is a provider of precision biopsy solutions designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy for healthcare professionals. The Customer Service Technician is responsible for entering customer orders, communicating with customers and sales teams, and assembling medical devices according to specific instructions.

Responsibilities

Manage and respond to all incoming inquiries, requests, reports and orders from customers and field sales
Provide information about the products and services to customers / sales team / sales representative and distributors as requested
Document and update customer orders and record all transactions onto Company’s database to ensure records are kept accurately based on interactions
Develop and maintain knowledge based of evolving products and services
Assembling medical devices according to specific instructions based on requirements, ensure quality testing is performed prior to shipment
Participating in training is required when assuming duty and regularly thereafter
Move material between the warehouse and shipping as required
Keeping track of materials and inventory as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Use basic understanding of manufacturing operations to ensure proper products are pulled together for shipments based on customers’ orders

Required

Excellent written and verbal communication and Customer Service skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and provide solutions tailored to customer needs
Understanding of inventory control and basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment operations
Proficiency in Microsoft applications as well as navigating computer databases and systems
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Positive and professional demeanor; willingness to pick up new assignments as needed

Preferred

Previous experience in medical equipment/manufacturing or technology support is a bonus
BA degree in business administration or equivalent experience preferred
