Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations including billing, accounts payable, and journal entries
Prepare and analyze financial information to support management decisions
Maintain general ledger accuracy and support timely close processes
Assist with resource management and operational planning efforts
Provide basic IT coordination and system oversight as needed
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiencies
Collaborate closely with ownership on financial and operational initiatives
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in accounting or Controller-level roles
Strong hands-on accounting skills in a small or mid-sized business environment
Ability to work independently and manage a wide range of responsibilities
Experience with billing, accounts payable, journal entries, and financial analysis
Exposure to operations, resource management, or IT support is a plus
Leadership mindset with interest in contributing beyond traditional accounting duties
