The role involves performing analytical testing and documentation for quality control and product development in a specialized pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities
Requires fine observation skills and attention to detail; able to handle multiple priorities
Sets up, adjusts and operates laboratory equipment and instruments such as microscopes, centrifuge, agitators, viscosimeter, chemical balance scales, spectrophotometer, gas chromatograph, HPLC, colorimeter, and other equipment. Performs Titration, gravimetric analysis and solution preparation. Tests materials for presence and content of substances or impurities
Tests samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to specifications
Technician will document results of testing on standard forms; writes test reports describing procedures used, interpretation of findings. Prepares graphs and charts
Prepares test solutions according to standard formulas, glassware and other test equipment to be available
Performs other duties as assigned
Technician will maintain laboratory equipment and ensure cleanliness
Calibrates laboratory instruments
Responsible for maintaining procedure manuals, stability study data, material safety data sheets and Quality Control files
Manage hazardous waste in compliance with regulation
This position is nights, working 5 pm to 5 am when scheduled. #WRGRACE, #INDEED
Must pass drug test including THC
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in the sciences or five years in lab environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines is required
Must pass drug test including THC
Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a laboratory environment with highly hazardous materials
Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator
Preferred
One year experience in a chemical plant environment preferred
