Engineer Systems - Active Interim Secret clearance
Northrop Grumman is a leading aerospace and defense company, seeking a Systems Engineer to support their Next Generation Launch Equipment and Next Generation Interceptor programs. The role involves developing key requirements, managing system design, and collaborating with various teams to ensure system performance meets stakeholder requirements.

Responsibilities
Development, decomposition, refinement, and documentation of key requirements and capabilities
Support overall System-level end to end performance assessments of the system, and identify/lead the resolution of systems performance gaps relative to stakeholder requirements
Collaborate with senior systems engineers, and other disciplines to support the development of deliverables
Generate and document system level requirements, perform vehicle performance assessments, and participate in system level verification/data review activities
Manage requirement changes in the Requirements Management databases working effectively with IPT leaders and team members
Create, and manage both original and revised specification/interface definition documents and coordinates document approval through peer review and signature process
Support risk management (identifies potential risk)
Manage aspects of system design, analyses, interface verification, testing, minor failure/anomaly resolution or mission operations
Participate in the creation of, and manage changes to system or subsystem analytical models
Support the development and execution of technical reviews for the program
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in STEM with 0 years of related engineering experience
U.S. Citizenship is required
US DoD Interim Secret security clearance, or higher at the time of application
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical personnel
Demonstrated experience in requirements decomposition, validation, and verification
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
Strong technical problem solving, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong resolve to drive tasks to completion autonomously
Knowledgeable about agile principles and have demonstrated the ability to facilitate an agile development process
Preferred
MBSE experience (Cameo or similar)
US DoD Secret security clearance, or higher at the time of application
