Responsibilities
Operates all applicable heavy equipment to including, but not limited to, landfill compactors, bulldozer, motor graders, hydraulic excavators, backhoes, loaders, etc
Performs routine preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment
May be required to work extended hours and Saturdays
Any other duty as assigned
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of mechanical operation of heavy equipment, proper care and knowledge of skillfully and safely using the equipment
Ability to keep written records
Ability to communication orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers
Possession of a Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain within three (3) months
Two (2) years heavy equipment operator experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Possession of Valid Driver's License
Satisfactory Driving Record
Proof of Citizenship and /or eligibility to work in the U.S. legally
Physical Examination
