They are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist - Collections who will be responsible for collecting outstanding dues, liaising with insurance companies, and developing payment plans as necessary.
Construction
Responsibilities
Make calls to insurance companies to follow up on outstanding dues of projects for homeowners
Liaison between Project Managers and Insurance Companies. Point of contact for homeowners if needed
Develop payment plans if needed
Locate debtors in order to begin the recovery process
Negotiate debt payments
Cross training available for other teams within the department (Invoicing, Permits/Licensing,etc)
All other duties assigned by manager
Qualification
Required
Must be persistent and have a “won't take no for an answer” attitude towards insurance companies
Must be a problem solver; capable of figuring things out and finding new avenues to approach issues to achieve the desired outcome
Quick thinking and adaptability
A positive “can-do” attitude
Great with hard deadlines
Preferred
Working knowledge of G Suite is a plus
Prior experience is a plus
