Responsibilities

Support the client's privacy office in the myriad tasks needed to support the client's privacy program
Use research and analysis skills to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership or commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for privacy-focused activities

Required

2+ years of experience with privacy or information security in a professional or nonprofit environment
Experience in assessing and implementing privacy controls under NIST SP 800-53 Revision 4 or Revision 5
Knowledge of privacy laws and standards, such as the Privacy Act, E-Government Act of 2002, or NIST SP 800-53 Revision 5
Ability to support privacy assessments or continuous monitoring of controls and identify privacy issues
Ability to execute against clear objectives, priorities, and success metrics or KPIs
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain an IAPP Privacy Certification within 3 months of start date

Preferred

Experience with law or public policy
Experience in monitoring, analyzing, and ensuring compliance with federal privacy laws and policies, including the Privacy Act of 1974, the E-Government Act of 2002, and privacy-related guidance by the Office of Management and Budget
Experience analyzing, updating, and implementing privacy-related policies, procedures, and guidance
Experience analyzing current and planned policies and activities
Experience assessing compliance with applicable privacy requirements
Bachelor's degree
