Responsibilities

Drafting and reviewing pleadings, including petitions, answers, procedural and substantive motions
Organizing financial records to help prepare discovery responses and prepare for mediations and hearings
Ability to perform legal research and effectively communicate the results
Drafting and reviewing agreements such as parenting plans, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements (a plus)

Required

Candidates must have litigation experience
Strong preference for exposure to Marital and Family Law
Ability to draft and review pleadings, including petitions, answers, procedural and substantive motions
Ability to organize financial records to help prepare discovery responses and prepare for mediations and hearings
Ability to perform legal research and effectively communicate the results
Ability to draft and review agreements such as parenting plans, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
Detail-oriented, friendly with strong people skills
Ability to relate calmly and constructively with people who may be emotionally vulnerable
Trustworthy, not easily overwhelmed, and able to work independently and effectively under pressure while still embracing teamwork
Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and a member of the Florida Bar in good standing

Preferred

An undergraduate degree in economics, financing or accounting preferred
