Responsibilities

Conduct pre-suit investigations, validity/infringement analyses, and freedom-to-operate reviews for cutting-edge tech patents
Draft and argue motions, manage discovery (including expert reports/depositions), and prepare for Markman hearings in federal courts
Participate in PTAB proceedings (IPR, reexamination) and ITC Section 337 investigations from strategy through hearing
Handle full-spectrum patent litigation — from complaint drafting and claim construction to trial preparation and appeals
Collaborate on case management — running significant portions independently while benefiting from direct mentorship by top-ranked, trial-experienced partners

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to practice law in at least one state
Experience in patent litigation or intellectual property law
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
Familiarity with patent law and procedures, including PTAB and ITC processes

Preferred

Experience with high-tech industries such as electronics, software, telecommunications, semiconductors, or automotive technology
Prior experience in a law firm setting, particularly in a litigation role
Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues and cases
Interest in working with cutting-edge technologies and innovative clients
