Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

Work on litigation and non-litigation matters for a wide range of clients, from small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations across many industries
Involved in all aspects of our practice, including pre-complaint investigations, case analysis, strategy drafting and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, motions and other court appearances, administrative matters before various state and federal agencies, running the day to day aspects of arbitration and trials, mediations, advise and counseling, and legal research and writing on a wide variety of areas

Required

Minimum of 3 years' experience in employment law defense litigation in California
Successful candidates will be highly motivated and responsive, have excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills, value a collaborative team environment, and will be prepared to work independently and assume significant responsibilities
Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of California
Must have a California bar license
During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice

Preferred

Class/collective action experience is preferable
Experience and interest in business development is preferred, but not required
Bilingual abilities are a plus
