Relationship Manager – Startup and Technology Banking
Piermont Bank is a digital commercial bank focused on serving fast-growing companies. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with startups and technology companies, selling deposit products, API banking solutions, and payment services tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and onboard new startup and technology clients for deposit, API Banking and/or payment products
Build and maintain strong relationships with founders and key decision-makers in the tech ecosystem
Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business models and financial needs to provide tailored banking solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of our deposit, API Banking, and payment products
Lead strategic discussions on how our banking solutions can support clients’ growth and operational efficiency
Achieve sales targets for deposit growth and payment product adoption
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in business development or sales roles in banking, fintech, or B2B SaaS
Demonstrated track record of selling to startups and technology companies
Strong understanding of payment systems and deposit products
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
