Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for issue triage and resolution across internal financial applications. Investigate data and system-related issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with internal teams or third-party vendors to implement fixes or workarounds
Support testing efforts for bug fixes, new features, and platform upgrades. Create and execute test plans, document results, and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination and sign-off
Work with multiple data sources and APIs (e.g., Salesforce, reference data providers, internal systems) to ensure high-quality data integration across platforms
Perform data reconciliations and quality checks, ensuring consistency and integrity across upstream/downstream systems
Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for business stakeholders, analyzing data discrepancies and providing follow-up insights
Maintain and update documentation assets, including implementation trackers, data dictionaries, and support materials for internal users
Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications. Partner with developers and product owners to refine user stories and ensure alignment with delivery goals
Provide user support, conduct training sessions, and help drive system adoption through clear documentation and communication
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Technical Analyst within financial services, preferably in capital markets, investment banking, or trading environments
Proficiency in SQL and strong experience working with relational databases for data analysis, validation, and reporting
Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
Solid understanding of data architecture, data governance, and application integration principles
Knowledge of object-oriented concepts, entity relationship diagrams (ERDs), and API-based data flows
Experience working in Agile delivery teams, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user story definition
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially when working with large or complex datasets
Preferred
Agile certifications or product management experience are a plus
