Responsibilities
Full compliance with Bank Operational and Credit policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements
Develop an understanding of the business environment, regulatory standards, and the bank's products and services
Preparation of detailed internal control narratives/flowcharts and audit programs
Execution of audit programs, documentation of work performed, and discussion of findings with the auditee
Contribution to the drafting and formatting of audit observation sheets and reports
Qualification
Required
Auditing (Intermediate)
Compliance (Intermediate)
COSO (Beginner)
Risk-Assessment (Intermediate)
Financial-Reporting (Intermediate)
Strong understanding of risk, internal controls, and auditing standards
Proficiency in written and verbal communication
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Minimum 3 years of experience in internal control audits and risk assessments
Previous experience within the financial services industry, preferably banking, is required
