Responsibilities

Performs preventive maintenance and repair work orders for facility mechanical systems, minor electrical, minor plumbing, lighting systems, grounds care, entry systems, roofing, and refuse programs
Performs facility inspections, reporting on conditions impacting satisfactory tenant/customer occupancy and operations
Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed
Ensure the facility and building systems meet or exceed rated life
Maintain compliance with policies of JLL/Client/Site. Assist in any audits of the site and systems
Ensure a safe work environment while maintaining a clean and organized work area
Additional responsibilities assigned by managers
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
Maintain a positive working relationship and be able to communicate with building tenants, staff, and contractors about the work
Candidates will be provided with tools required to perform assigned work scope
Must be willing and able to support any after-hours building-related activity as required
Other tasks as assigned

Required

Have a minimum of 2 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance
High school diploma or equivalent years of relevant experience
The candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license
Position requires excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. Bilingual is a plus
Knowledge of the following -- basic carpentry, basic HVAC, basic plumbing, and basic electrical
Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation
Ability to climb ladders up to 12 feet and lift 60 lbs. repeatedly
Ability to safely bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, and turn frequently
Requires ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports, excellent customer service skills
Must be able to work and act independently, safely, and make solid decisions in the field
Can operate various hand tools
Requires teamwork attitude
