Maintenance Technician
Griffis Residential is dedicated to creating exceptional living experiences for residents through luxury apartment homes. The Service Technician will maintain community buildings and ensure resident satisfaction by performing repairs, responding to service requests, and collaborating with management to uphold community standards.

Responsibilities
Perform necessary repairs to make apartments ready for move-in, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs
Respond promptly to resident service requests and emergency repairs, ensuring a maximum response time of 30 minutes
Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules and inspections
Adhere to safety guidelines and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local codes and regulations
Maintain accurate records of pool and spa maintenance, ensuring chemical balance and safety
Conduct community inspections, reporting necessary repairs and ensuring the community's cleanliness and appearance
Participate in litter pick-up, snow and ice removal, and other maintenance activities as required
Collaborate with the Service Manager and Community Manager to meet financial goals and manage inventory effectively
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of experience in multi-family housing, hospitality, or a related industry
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance
Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide quality customer service
Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Basic computer skills and familiarity with budget management
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and work independently
Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting up to 75 pounds and working in various weather conditions
Preferred
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license and EPA Certification preferred (required within the first six months of employment)
