ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)

Responsibilities
Providing administrative assistance and support to the Hospitalists’ physician team
Ensures that the leadership team receives clerical and administrative support sufficient to expedite their professional activities with a minimum of disruption and delay
Maintaining confidentiality
Excellent interpersonal skills
Effective problem solving
Varied clerical duties
Responsible for the smooth operations and efficient functioning of the Hospitalist team
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required
Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills required
Proficiency with varied computer applications (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word) required
Preferred
Completion of a medical assistant, patient care tech or EMT program, or experience as a Health Unit Coordinator is preferred
Prior experience in a hospital or physician office setting preferred
Strong medical terminology background preferred
