DSHS Rainier Dietitian
NEOGOV is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join the Rainier School, a habilitation center for people with developmental disabilities. The role involves performing nutrition assessments, developing care plans, and providing nutritional therapy and education to residents.

Responsibilities
Perform nutrition assessment, education, and nutritional therapy for each resident
Develop, implement, and document nutritional care plans and menus for residents
Conduct weekly quality assurance by performing tray evaluations and auditing resident records for dietary compliance on nutritional needs
Consult with the interdisciplinary team
Monitor dietary programs and progress of residents’ medical records
Evaluate and work with vendors and staff
Recommend dietary supplements, ensuring supplements and feeding formulas are available
Interpret research findings and incorporate them into nutritional therapy programs to treat residents
Write general menu and medications for special diets
Develop, evaluate, and utilize food service computer systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree involving a major study in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited dietetics program
Registration as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), or eligible for registration at the time of hire, and ability to pass the registration examination within one year of the date of hire
Preferred
Washington Dietitian Certification
Certified Dietitian License
Active Registered Dietitian Credential (CDR) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
