Responsibilities

Provide accounting policy guidance on new transactions, business initiatives, and firmwide projects
Lead accounting and finance integration efforts for acquisitions, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and firm standards
Evaluate the impact of new accounting guidance and coordinate adoption across entities
Support legal entity controllers in preparing consolidated and standalone company financials
Drive finance process improvements, reengineering initiatives, and system enhancements in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Assess transaction structures against relevant accounting guidance, prepare technical conclusions, and present findings to senior stakeholders
Contribute to monthly close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and high-quality management reporting
Liaise with external auditors, internal auditors, and regulators to ensure accurate and timely responses to inquiries

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
8–10+ years in technical accounting, ideally within financial services or asset management
Direct experience with M&A transactions
Strong U.S. GAAP expertise with proficiency in areas such as revenue recognition, leases, foreign currency, consolidation/VIEs, compensation arrangements, and equity vs. liability classification
Familiarity with asset management accounting, including 40 Act Funds and Private Equity structures
Proficiency with SAP, Workiva, OneStream, and advanced Excel skills
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proactive self-starter with strong communication skills
