The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections, documenting results, and maintaining equipment to meet customer specifications and legal regulations.

Responsibilities
Approve incoming materials, in process production, and finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting unacceptable materials; creating quality notification for non-conformances
Communicate discrepancies to production supervisor and help determine next steps
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputting data into quality database
Conduct process audits
Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs as needed
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations
Understand and apply statistical process control techniques, including basic chart interpretation and capability analysis
Qualification
Required
Previous quality/inspector roles in a manufacturing environment
Skilled using a variety of measurement equipment including calipers, pin gage set, height gage, test indicator, micrometer, pitch micrometer, dial indicator, surface plate, optical comparator, smart scope, coordinate measuring machine (CMM), and vision systems (i.e. Keyence)
Good oral and written communication skills, ability to work with cross functional teams
Proficient with excel, technical training in blueprint reading, willingness to learn, thorough, detailed oriented, open to feedback
Preferred
Experience navigating SAP and Quality systems
