They are seeking a QA/QC Inspector responsible for performing quality control inspections for water storage tank maintenance and coating projects across the United States, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities
Perform QA/QC inspections for water storage tank coating and maintenance projects, including monitoring surface preparation, coating applications, curing and final acceptance
Ensure all work complies with project specifications, contract documents, and applicable industry standards (AMPP/NACE/SSPC/AWWA/OSHA, etc.)
Serve as the primary coatings inspector for assigned maintenance plan programs
Document inspection activities through detailed written reports, photographs, and daily logs
Identify, document, and communicate any non-conformance or deviations from specifications to project teams
Verify corrective actions are properly implemented and documented
Review inspection reports and provide input on future maintenance scope recommendations
Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents/Foremen, and field crews to address quality issues in real time
Maintain organized project documentation using company systems (e.g. SharePoint, Business Central, Trello, etc)
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends, recurring issues, or opportunities to improve quality and consistency
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all inspection activities
Travel extensively throughout the United States as project schedules require
Qualification
Required
NACE / AMPP Level 1 Coatings Inspector Certification
Experience with water tank inspection standards (AWWA D100, D102, D103)
Working knowledge of inspection tools and testing methods (DFT gauges, surface profile, environmental monitoring, etc.)
Strong understanding of coatings systems, surface preparation methods, and applicable techniques
Professional demeanor when interacting with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and reporting skills
Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the United States
Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle
