Part-Time Senior Accountant
Child Care Aware® of Missouri (CCAMO) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Senior Accountant to join our dynamic nonprofit accounting team. The role involves managing month-end accounting processes, supporting business operations, and overseeing HR and payroll functions for a statewide nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities
Create and modify financial reports monthly or as requested
Review and analyze general ledger
Perform bank reconciliations
Complete account reconciliations
Prepare and post monthly journal entries
Create comparative reports as requested
Manage payroll through online platform
Assist with HR activities including benefit evaluation and new hire processing
Create, manage and/or maintain up to date fiscal policy and process manuals
Review FTE allocations with CBO
Support financial audit and audit prep as requested
Engage in organization’s fundraising and friend-raising activities
Promote the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Child Care Aware® of Missouri
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in accounting or a closely related field with at least five years experience in accounting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred
Not for profit accounting experience
Knowledge of Sage 100
Knowledge of Uniform Guidance
Non-profit government contract funding experience
