Responsibilities
Process daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial records, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank accounts
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients
Collaborate with other members of the finance team to resolve any issues and ensure the integrity of financial information
Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards and regulations and implement any necessary changes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Minimum of 5-7+ years of relevant experience
Ability and experience to prepare full financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flow
In depth understanding of GAAP rules and requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to clients
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
Experience with high net/ultra high net worth family office accounting strongly preferred
Experience with financial reporting software or ERP systems beyond Quickbooks is strongly preferred
