The Ohio Department of Veterans Services is seeking a proactive Recruitment Coordinator to support their Human Resources Team. This role involves developing recruitment plans, maintaining relationships with educational institutions, and managing various hiring platforms to attract candidates for direct care positions.

Responsibilities

Focuses on recruiting for our direct care positions (STNA/CNA, LPN, RN)

Manages ODVS Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, OhioMeansJob, and other hiring platform accounts

Establishes & maintains relationships with schools, programs & businesses that educate, certify, graduate &/or license CNAs, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) &/or Registered Nurses (RNs)

Schedules classroom visits with students to discuss employment opportunities; attends external job fairs/hiring events at high schools, colleges, career technical education centers, nursing schools, etc

Responsible for managing the overall operations of succession planning initiatives, leading teams to assess talent needs & participating in the development of training programs for potential successors

Required
