The State of Oregon's Department of Fish and Wildlife is seeking an Inland Fish Management Program Manager to provide leadership for the Inland Fish Management Program. Responsibilities
Provides policy, priority, and procedural leadership for the Inland Fish Management Program
Oversees program planning, implementation, and decision-making essential to achieving the agency’s mission across Division Programs, Regional Districts, and partner entities
Develops and manages program budgets
Serves as a key policy liaison with state, federal, and local agencies, tribes, partners, and the public
Qualification
Required
Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience
OR-
Three years of related experience AND a bachelor's degree
Preferred
Leadership experience developing and implementing fish management plans and policies, and an effective approach to addressing complex fish management issues that results in balanced and positive outcomes
Strong written and oral communication and coordination skills with varied entities and individuals
Strong organizational skills and the ability to address multiple concurrent work needs at different levels of detail and priority
Strong supervisory and administrative skills
