ARW Home is seeking a Senior Data & Reporting Engineer to architect, scale, and optimize their enterprise reporting infrastructure. This role involves building foundational data architecture for high-quality reporting and analytics automation, while leading the modernization of their reporting stack across AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI semantic models, datasets, and dashboards
Resolve complex Power BI refresh, gateway, and data connection issues between Azure and AWS
Establish data governance standards for datasets, access control, and versioning
Develop reusable, scalable reporting frameworks that support self-service analytics
Build and maintain data pipelines connecting AWS (RDS, Redshift, S3) and Azure Power BI services
Design data models optimized for BI performance and long-term scalability
Develop foundational components of the company data warehouse in partnership with the CTO
Evaluate and implement ETL/ELT solutions (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, dbt)
Implement monitoring for data refreshes, pipeline reliability, and dataset accuracy
Establish data hygiene practices, schema documentation, and source-of-truth processes
Collaborate with business teams to support reporting needs and translate requirements
Identify opportunities to automate reporting and scale insights

Required

5–8 years of experience in data engineering, BI engineering, or analytics engineering
Proven experience building and maintaining Power BI reports, datasets, and dataflows
Advanced SQL skills across MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, or Snowflake
Experience with AWS data services (S3, RDS, Redshift)
Strong understanding of Azure Power BI Service and governance
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, dbt)
Understanding of data modeling and BI performance optimization
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
