This role involves leading financial and IT audits, ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and participating in high-impact special projects to help shape the company's internal audit function.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end audits including risk assessments, planning, fieldwork, testing, and reporting
Leverage data analytics and audit software to assess financial, operational, and fraud risks
Stay ahead of evolving regulations and adjust audit procedures as needed
Communicate progress and findings to audit leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Present audit results, recommendations, and remediation plans in closing meetings
Partner closely with Compliance, Finance, Operations, and other business teams to drive improvements and build trust
Support SOX 404 compliance efforts by assessing and testing internal controls over financial reporting
Serve as a mentor and set the tone for future growth of the audit function

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
4+ years of experience in public accounting or internal audit

Preferred

CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)
Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL) is a plus
