They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to join their Mechanical Engineering team, responsible for the complete lifecycle of space hardware and performing mechanical analyses on new product designs.

In this position, you will own the complete lifecycle of space hardware from initial electrical/RF design concept to production & unit delivery
Perform mechanical analyses (vibration, thermal, radiation) on new product designs to ensure survival to launch and on-orbit environments
Rapidly prototype & iterate on designs
Qualification
Required
Motivated, hands-on, passionate individual
Experience in developing new space hardware for communication satellites
Ability to own the complete lifecycle of space hardware from initial electrical/RF design concept to production & unit delivery
Experience performing mechanical analyses (vibration, thermal, radiation) on new product designs
Ability to ensure survival to launch and on-orbit environments
Experience in rapidly prototyping & iterating on designs
