Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline teams
Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards
Build a culture of ownership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
Address performance gaps decisively and fairly
Collaborate with senior leaders to align operations with business objectives
Own daily operations across shipping, receiving, warehouse, production, assembly, lab, and procurement
Ensure work is performed according to documented, compliant processes—not tribal knowledge
Strengthen operational stability and reduce firefighting
Implement practical Lean manufacturing or similar methodologies
Identify waste, bottlenecks, and variability; lead corrective actions
Drive standard work, visual management, and operational discipline
Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to support growth
Own planning, scheduling, and capacity management across functional areas
Balance labor, equipment, and material availability
Implement effective inventory management and cycle counting
Improve labor efficiency and labor absorption
Leverage ERP and WMS tools (NetSuite and RF Smart experience a plus)
Establish and manage KPIs for throughput, on-time delivery, labor efficiency, and inventory accuracy
Use data to drive decisions and accountability

Required

10+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse operations
7+ years in people leadership roles
Proven success implementing lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and supply chain improvements
Demonstrated track record building high-trust, high-performing teams
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field

Preferred

Experience within medical device or other regulated product environments strongly preferred
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FDA, ISO 13485, and EPA a plus
Experience working within ERP/WMS systems; NetSuite and RF Smart experience a plus
Formal Lean certification a plus
