Responsibilities

Shape transfusion medicine where innovation and compassion meet

Report to the Director of Laboratory Services and partner with the Medical Director of Transfusion Medicine and Pathology

Guide policy, quality indicators, and complex case reviews

Mentor CLS generalists and specialists

Oversee daily operations, QC/QA, validations, inventory, and vendor relationships

Perform advanced antibody identification, neonatal and maternal testing, and massive transfusion support

Collaborate with nurses and a diverse interprofessional team across the Emergency Department, Surgery, ICU, Oncology, and Women’s Services
