Client Care Associate

Illumination Health + Home is a growing non-profit organization dedicated to disrupting the cycle of homelessness. The Client Care Associate is responsible for addressing clients’ immediate shelter needs and providing support and resources to ensure their safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist with client intakes by cleaning and preparing rooms for new families entering the family shelters
Check in with clients on-site and perform walk-throughs of family shelters to ensure client safety and welfare
Address any after-hours client concerns
Communicate after hour emergencies to management
Conduct curfew checks
Monitor sites for any safety concerns
Ensure daily chores are completed and shelter participants maintain a clean-living environment
Work collaboratively with shelter staff to ensure room checks are kept up to shelter standards
Assist with distributing donations throughout all shelter sites
Perform general cleaning of all shelters, including sweeping, mopping, wiping, and vacuuming, and updating cleaning logs
Dispose of all trash accumulated within the facility
Ensure shelters are stocked with necessary items

Qualification

Bilingual in EnglishSpanishBasic computer skillsClient intake assistanceFacility upkeepProactive problem solving

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills, including the ability to send and receive emails and summarize data in spreadsheets
Bilingual in English and Spanish
1 year relevant experience
