Responsibilities
Maintain and operate Linux and Windows systems across multiple test environments, including routine system health checks, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to support development and testing activities
Install, configure, and validate updates and patches; provide feedback on installation procedures prior to customer delivery
Administer user access in Windows Active Directory and implement controls to protect information and meet security requirements
Monitor system performance to support capacity planning, backups, and disaster recovery activities
Qualification
Required
Active U.S. Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SAP
Proven experience in installing and configuring Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows systems
CompTIA Security+ or a certification in compliance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II
Preferred
Previous experience with CISCO network switches
Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP and DNS
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and KVM/QEMU
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide technical support to end-users
