Responsibilities

Lead idea generation for innovative design/process solutions to existing operational problems
Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements for the current and next generation of AMZL Delivery Station
Work closely with a partner teams in Engineering, Tech and Operations to build impactful products
Own and deliver against plans, providing network reporting, financial approval and leadership approval for all stages of program progression
Act as technical expert in area of ownership, providing technical expertise to other Engineering teams, alongside providing technical challenge for suppliers and partners
Own internal process innovations across the Engineering Org, including owning road-mapping and planning for given area of responsibility and ensuring roadmap is delivered
Present concepts, designs, program updates and roadmap to senior leadership on a frequent basis. Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ensure customer satisfaction by following through with requests and ensuring needs are met as accurately and immediately as possible
Coordinate with Tech/Software teams, driving the operational execution of software enhancements as well as ensuring the software supports the physical design/process innovations
25% expected travel based on business needs

Required

5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)

Preferred

Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools
Experience in Logistics, Distribution or Fulfillment processes
7+ years of maintenance or engineering experience
Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems and high-speed manufacturing
Experience working under pressure in a cross-functional organization
