Responsibilities
As a HighJump WMS SQL Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing warehouse management capabilities through effective SQL development and database management
This role is crucial in optimizing the warehouse management systems to ensure smooth operations and efficient order fulfillment
Work closely with our logistics and operations teams to streamline processes, improve data integrity, and support our growing business needs
Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support HighJump WMS and its integration with our ERP and e-commerce systems
Resolve and update IT tickets for WMS SQL-related tasks/issues in a timely and efficient manner
Collaborate with the operations, IT, and business analysis teams to gather requirements and create SQL solutions that address specific warehouse and inventory challenges
Work with application vendors on incidents and technical support as needed
Assist in system upgrades, ensuring the integrity and security of data throughout the process
Provide training and support to team members on SQL-related queries and reporting tools
Create/modify standard operating procedures and documentation as needed
Provide on-call and after-hours support and maintenance duties as required
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in SQL development and warehouse management to continuously improve our systems
Qualification
Required
Solid technical skills in SQL development and database management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
Ability to troubleshoot SQL databases
Experience with SQL Server implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance
Ability to collaborate with logistics and operations teams
Experience in resolving IT tickets for SQL-related tasks/issues
Ability to gather requirements and create SQL solutions
Experience in providing training and support on SQL-related queries and reporting tools
Ability to create/modify standard operating procedures and documentation
Willingness to provide on-call and after-hours support and maintenance duties
Preferred
Experience with HighJump WMS and its integration with ERP and e-commerce systems
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in SQL development and warehouse management
