Required

Associate's Degree, or two years of relevant work experience may be substituted for experience

4 years of customer service or relevant experience (BA/BS Degree may be substituted for experience)

Keyboard skills of at least 35 wpm

Competent written communications skills

Ability to obtain the state agent's license within 90 days in the position, and to maintain an unrestricted license thereafter

Completion of insurance designation or equivalent professional designation within 33 months in the position if incumbent did not have prior experience in a position with this requirement

Preferred

Excellent verbal communications skills, to include a courteous, confident demeanor and appropriate use of grammar and vocabulary

Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word

Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills

Ability to accomplish work according to established priorities and procedures

Experience in the insurance or financial industry preferred
