Financial Planning & Investor Relations Specialist

The Financial Planning & Investor Relations Specialist will develop, implement, and manage key strategic initiatives while conducting financial analysis and collaborating with stakeholders to support the company's strategy and investor relations efforts.

Responsibilities
Support development of company’s corporate strategy – (40%)
Contribute to the definition of strategic priorities and identify improvement opportunities based on financial analysis working closely with senior leaders. Use structured problem-solving approach to conduct analysis and uncover insights on key strategic questions for the company and present these to company’s leadership
Support strategic initiatives for Electrify America and engagement with business units, ensuring that insights translate into impact by working with ad-hoc cross functional implementation teams. Analyze how business performance will impact specific business units’ day-to-day processes. Ensure that there is a communication/feedback path back to the Strategy team
Support development of key financial metrics for relevant business units in order to iterate and refine Electrify America’s overall strategy
Iterate and refine Electrify America’s mid and long term financial model in order to maximize transparency on underlying business rationale
Monitor and evaluate progress of strategic initiatives. Structure and conduct meetings for the purpose of reviewing implementation accomplishments and shortfalls with each business unit and report results to leadership
Investor Relations, Communications and Stakeholder Engagement (35%)
Organize and manage investor meetings
Support investors’ decision making process through visits, meetings and collaboration with analysts and appropriate senior leaders
Speaks on behalf of the company at presentations, meetings, and discussions
Provide senior speakers preparation for meetings
Educate investors and address investor inquiries, concerns and requests for information
Supports production of annual and interim reports with research, analysis, writing and editing
Conduct in-depth reviews of deliverables to verify the integrity and reliability of information presented to investors and shareholders
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity
Deliverables: Board of Directors presentations; strategy communications, and quarterly investor meetings
Corporate Development (25%)
Prepare, analyze and comment financial reporting for various stakeholders across the organization
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment between finance and business objectives
Contribute to special projects related to financial analysis, process optimization, and technology enhancements, driving operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
2-5 years of relevant experience in EV infrastructure, automotive or utility space
Undergraduate Degree

Translate numerical insights into clear messages and actionable recommendations
Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and SAP
Advanced communication skill across hierarchy and functional levels including executives and board members
Preferred
MBA
Knowledge or interest in the EVs, EV charging, and/or the energy transition
Experience writing and executing Python
Experience in management consulting, internal corporate strategy, or equity research
