Responsibilities
Modify molds, dies, and tooling components using precision machining techniques
Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop tooling solutions for plastics manufacturing processes
Perform regular maintenance and preventive maintenance on molds, dies, and tools to optimize performance and extend their lifespan
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with molds and tools and implement effective repair solutions
Conduct repairs, adjustments, and modifications to molds and tools to ensure proper functionality and minimize downtime
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
10 + years with precision tooling
Strong tooling background to include experience in close tolerance grinding, lathes, and mills
Strong troubleshooting/analytical skills
Proficient in repairing molds, dies, and tools
Process knowledge (including electronic)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with hot runner systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred
additional technical certifications or education
