Business Intelligence Analyst, Consumer Strategy
Nashville Predators is a professional sports organization, and they are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support their Consumer Strategy. Responsibilities
Contribute towards maintaining and growing the reporting portfolio across the organization
Use internal tools to prepare research, presentations and develop strategies to support commercial products in sponsorship, ticketing, and other verticals
Support execution and accuracy of CRM system inputs and reporting, lead distribution and customer identification
Support execution of internal tools to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of sponsorship and marketing activations
Create efficiencies into data and reporting strategies that automate manual data processes
Record and document processes to build internal knowledge base
Contribute to developing & managing automated reporting systems and dashboards to track customer trends related to revenue performance, performance marketing and consumer behavior
Create analyses and visualizations describing our customers, how they behave, what their buying trends are, and recommendations on monetization
Support the building and maintenance of accurate custom data sources within data warehouse environments to achieve Organizational objectives
Contribute to the development and build-out of marketing automation capabilities and strategy
Partner with marketing, ticketing, and sales teams to identify opportunities to maximize revenue and improve customer experience
Partner with finance team and other department stakeholders to identify and track key business metrics
Execute techniques to identify, extract and analyze data to support business decisions
Execute analytical approaches to transform complex data into thoughtful, actionable insights
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with a consistent track record of professional and personal achievement. Preferred degree concentration: business analytics, finance, information systems, statistics, or economics
12 months professional experience with a professional sports team, league, vendor, agency, promoter, or arena environment supporting data warehousing, dashboarding and reporting, CRM systems operations, and audience identification
Ability to write queries using SQL along with a familiarity with relational databases
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Exceptional ability to use PowerPoint, Canva or other presentation tools to effectively communicate findings
Exceptional ability to communicate and present findings in a clear concise manner
Must be able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption
Effective interpersonal and communications skills, with strong critical thinking and attention to detail
Strong organization and prioritization skills
As a condition of employment, qualified applicants will be subject to a background check, including criminal history check, driving history and character references
Possess a valid driver's license, a suitable driving history, be insurable by Nashville Predators' insurance carrier and have reliable transportation
Required to work long hours on event days
Ability to clearly communicate with clients and coworkers
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Ability to stand in an upright position for continuous period of time
Excellent speaking and listening skills, requiring the perception of speech
Walking, bending, carrying of light items such office supplies will be required
Preferred
Google Analytics 4 experience a plus
Experience with data visualization, preferably Tableau
Familiarity with ticket operations and price code nomenclature development a plus; Ticketmaster/Archtics preferred
Familiarity of CRM system operations and management (Salesforce/Microsoft Dynamics 365) preferred
Experience with Syndicated Research Tools (YouGov, Vision Insights, Scarborough, etc.) a plus
Exposure in a consumer marketing automation platform (ie. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.) a plus
Experience with Media Valuation Tools (Trajektory, Relo Metrics, MVP Index, etc.) a plus
