Ste. Michelle Wine Estates is currently seeking highly qualified candidates for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Columbia Crest Winery. This role is responsible for maintaining quality improvement standard operating procedures and material specifications through testing and inspection to ensure high-quality standards for products.

Responsibilities

Inspect in-process and post-process packaged goods and provide prompt and accurate feedback to the bottling supervisor and line personnel

Perform physical stability tests on finished wines

Maintain accurate/current packaging and bottling-related records

Maintain quality assurance records and workstation records

Record and report analytical results

Required

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must Possess a Valid Drivers License

High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or two years of college coursework in a science discipline (chemistry, biochemistry, or related science field) preferred

Able to meet flexible schedule requirements. This role maintains a monthly rotational schedule

Experience in the wine, food, or beverage industry

Analytical laboratory experience with a background in the operation of laboratory instrument systems preferred

Ability to work in a self-directed team environment

History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies
