Responsibilities
Lead Design, development configuration, and/or maintenance for Gen AI applications, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and analysis
Support the creation of Gen AI products within our cloud environments
Guide and coach technical team members
Collaborate with tech/ data partners, business stakeholders, data scientists and engineers to create Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and integrate LLM models into production-grade applications
Develop APIs and microservices to facilitate data access and integration across various components of the Gen AI platform
Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation to ensure the reliability, maintainability, and scalability of our software systems
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and Gen AI, applying them to enhance our platform
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience
7 additional years of data engineering experience
2 years of technical leadership experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Ten years of programming/development experience preferred
Four years of Tech leadership experience
Proven experience as a Full Stack Designer / architect or similar role, with a strong focus on data engineering and Gen AI applications
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and related services (e.g., AWS Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, Redshift)
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS
Strong understanding of database systems and data processing frameworks (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Spark, Databricks)
Good understanding and experience of Gen AI concepts like Agentic Frameworks, RAG, LLM, Chunking, and Hyper-parameters
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams
