Retail Vendor Manager, Lawn and Garden

Responsibilities
Own the P&L for a major category
Drive topline growth and profitability
Manage key vendor relationships
Develop and execute strategic plans that expand product selection
Drive operational excellence and improve vendor terms
Analyze business performance metrics and industry trends
Lead long-term Joint Business Planning
Own complex negotiations and identify growth opportunities
Define and prioritize ways to enhance customer experience
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Advertising, Marketing, and Account Management
Mentor and develop team members
Translate data into actionable insights and make high-impact decisions
Qualification
Required
3+ years of with Excel experience
5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
Bachelor's degree
Preferred
Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
