In this role, you will work directly with clients to successfully deliver a variety of transportation projects, including roadways, sidewalks, and small bridges. The position involves project management, client interaction, and the opportunity to develop project management skills.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of one or more projects including funding, scope, fee, and contract development, project planning, project permitting, cost estimates, pre-design work, design, specifications, and bidding document preparation, construction support, and project closeout
You will be responsible for working with senior firm management to develop project opportunities, assisting our marketing team with developing proposals, making project assignments, and overseeing internal staff and various subconsultants
You may also participate in hiring, training, and developing junior staff
Qualification
Required
Licensed Professional Engineer
Possess or ability to obtain Oregon and/or Washington license within 1 year of employment
10+ years of transportation engineering experience
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Public speaking skills with experience participating in meetings with clients, the public, and contractors
Experience in developing and writing planning documents, work agreements, and task orders
Project management experience including managing subconsultants
Ability to lead, train, motivate others and contribute to a team environment
Experience in developing effective long-lasting relationships with clients, peers, and management
