The ideal candidate will have a business and accounting educational background and will be responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger tasks, among other administrative duties.

Responsibilities
Prepare and post daily cash receipts to billing system, bank deposits
Prepare daily and weekly cash reports
Prepare semi-monthly accounts receivable aging custom reports
Post invoices to accounting system; onboard new vendors; filing
Prepare and post journal entries
Assist with bank and other account reconciliations
Assist with transmitting bills to clients
Respond to attorney and client billing-related requests
Assist with client accruals and onboarding new clients
Prepare various reports for use in financial analysis and compliance
Review and process incoming mail
Other tasks, responsibilities, and special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word) required
Effective communication skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and independently under direction required
Punctuality, accuracy, attention to detail, analytical skills and highest level of ethics, confidentiality, client service and judgment required
Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities required
Periodic overtime may be required
Background check required post-offer
Preferred
Experience with integrated billing and accounting systems a plus (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable)
Business or Accounting courses/degree and law firm experience a plus. This is an ideal position for a recent college graduate
