Start in 2026 SummerFenner Precision Polymers is offering an exciting internship opportunity with the Maintenance Team. As part of the Maintenance Team, you will perform scheduled maintenance activities, diagnose equipment failures, and shadow machine maintenance at different plants.

Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance activities on all processing equipment
Diagnose and repair equipment failures
Determine material required for necessary repairs
Utilize skills and knowledge in performance of daily repairs (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic of processing equipment)
Follow all procedures such as lockout/tagout and safety procedures
Complete all jobs in an orderly manner
Wear the required PPE at all times
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion and keep equipment in proper working condition
Shadow machine maintenance and facilities maintenance at different plants
Troubleshoot issues with production equipment through the PLC programs
Qualification
Required
Perform scheduled maintenance activities on all processing equipment
Diagnose and repair equipment failures

Technical skills are the foundation of maintenance competency
Problem-solving, communication, time management and teamwork
One year completed at a technical college or one year completed at a CTC/vocational school
Must have mechanical and electrical skills
Preferred
Nice to have PLC and drives experience
