The Head of Software, Compilers (MLIR) will oversee the entire AI technology stack, focusing on the development and execution of AI-driven compiler engineering strategies while managing high-performing engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for AI-driven compiler engineering, staying ahead of technology trends and industry challenges in semiconductors
Lead research, design, and development of compiler technologies leveraging AI to enhance optimization of semiconductor products
Collaborate closely with architecture, hardware design, and software teams to embed compiler AI solutions seamlessly into product development pipelines
Champion collaboration between hardware and software engineering groups to ensure co-development and tight integration of AI-driven compiler technologies with semiconductor designs
Drive creation of co-design methodologies and workflows that accelerate prototype development, proof-of-concepts, and reference designs demonstrating AI compiler benefits in real-world semiconductor applications
Build, mentor, and manage high-performing engineering teams specializing in compilers, machine learning, and AI technologies
Qualification
Required
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Deep expertise with leading teams focused on compiler development for machine learning applications
Extensive knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, compilers, and AI algorithms relevant to semiconductor software development
Proven track record of building and managing high-performing, innovative technical teams
Passionate about driving innovation with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI development

Ph.D. strongly preferred
