Responsibilities

Reviewing and writing test plans, defining test methodologies, and completing functional verification to the required quality levels and schedules

Collaborate with others in architecture, design, verification, and build a functional verification strategy

Develop IP features which enable reconfigurable designs

Partner with design to review Microarchitectural specifications and debug issues

Act as 1-Arm ensuring the best solutions are what Arm uses

Required

Bachelors or higher in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering or a similar related field

Experience working in verification of complex subsystems or SoCs

Verification stages: requirements collection, test plan creation, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation and support

Front-end verification tools - Dynamic simulation tools, Static Simulation tools, UPF, and Debuggers, Questa, VCS, Jasper Gold, Verdi

Coverage - Functional, Toggle, Code

Reconfigurable IP / Subsystem design

Collaboration

Preferred

Object-oriented programming concepts

ARM-based designs and/or ARM System Architectures

OTP/Fuse usage models and JTAG/TAP protocols

Perl, Python or other scripting language

SoC system debug methodologies

DFT methodologies: RTL testability, scan insertion, OCC
