Paint Engineering Supervisor
nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. They are seeking a Paint Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of technicians in powder coating and foam-in-place operations, focusing on operational excellence, safety, and process innovation.

Responsibilities
Coach, mentor, and build technical depth within a group of technicians supporting multiple value streams
Drive operational excellence by supervising troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, chemical monitoring, and operator training to ensure optimal approaches and continuous improvement
Lead sophisticated projects such as automation upgrades, ergonomic improvements, and capital equipment installations while applying structured problem-solving and driving CER execution
Promote a safety-first environment using risk notification tools, ergonomic analysis, and management of change. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and environmental regulations
Partner with process engineers, automation teams, and external vendors to deliver solutions that enhance productivity and quality
Enable future growth and support roadmap development for new processes and products, ensuring scalability and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's (B.S.) degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related Engineering field required
Strong technical problem-solving and project management abilities
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or continuous improvement principles
Ability to navigate multi-functional environments and inspire change
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for vendor visits, tradeshows, etc
Preferred
2+ years in paint, powder coating, or chemical processing is preferred
Previous people management experience is preferred, including an ability to lead and guide engineering and technical teams
